Patient Gown Fabrics

The patient clothing fabric has high color fastness to abrasion, high color fastness to washing, color fastness to perspiration, and no fuzzing. The durability and smoothness of the fabric are the determinants of the quality of the patient clothing.

The fabric of patient clothes is related to the image of the hospital. The reason for the pilling is that the yarn of the textile fabric is composed of fibers, and some short fibers are easily exposed to the cloth surface. Patient gowns must not contain short fibers that are prone to pilling.

The fabric of patient clothing must be sweat-absorbing and breathable. Inpatients are generally more prone to sweating, so the fabric of patient clothing is required to have good sweat-absorbing and breathable properties.
